| Just squatting on the off-chance that I'll want to use this space again, that's all. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

| Belated happy Thanksgiving, and all that. I have plenty, plenty,
plenty to be thankful for, so it would be much too tedious for me to
list it all out. With that in mind, I've chosen not to even attempt it, which gives you, the reader,
something to be thankful for.
Nothing else really of note. I did buy a 4 megapixel (more or
less) digital camera, which is pretty nice for being under $200.
I'd been holding out on buying one because I was waiting for a big
opportunity to really use the camera, before committing the
money. How did it escape me that, perhaps, a TRIP TO THE
PHILIPPINES was this aforementioned big opportunity? If I were
the type to slap my forehead in frustration, then this would be the
time for me to do it. Somehow, I get the feeling that few of my
friends are surprised.
I also caught Blacula
while channel surfing a couple days back. It's not a comedy, but
as can be ascertained from the title and the movie poster (which even
has a choice quote from a "reviewer" calling it "the most horrifying
movie of the decade"), the flick is chock full of unintentional
hilarity. Of course, I didn't watch the whole thing through - I
caught maybe about 20-30 minutes of it total while channel surfing -
but it was enough to give me an urge to look for "Black Belt Jones" and
"The Last Dragon", with the latter sporting a villain whose moniker is
Sho'Nuff. How can that movie not be a winner?
To end this post, here's another random picture from the PI. Yes,
that's me pumping water. We don't need no damn showers!

| I wonder if my decision to leave my job is a result of unfavorable
circumstances, or a sign of a crippling character flaw. Here's to
hoping it isn't the latter.

| Man, when I burn out, I REALLY burn out, don't I?
